Great Place To Work® Institute protects your privacy whenever collecting personal information such as name or phone number, and by never revealing an employee's identity or individual survey responses to employers or any third parties. This Privacy Policy ('Policy') embodies our commitment to protect your privacy through adherence to fair electronic information practices. This Policy informs you of how your personal information is processed. Gathering Personal Information For more than 20 years the Great Place to Work® Institute has advanced the knowledge of what makes a great place to work® by recognizing Best Companies to work for in the U.S. and around the world, and by helping numerous companies improve corporate performance and raise the quality of work life for their employees. We use the Great Place to Work® Trust Index©, an employee survey, to measure employees' perceptions of the quality of their workplace relationships. Our online survey website collects specific data from you, both in your answers to our Trust Index© survey as well as general demographic information about you, which we use for the purpose of tracking and reporting response patterns. Providing this demographic information to us is never mandatory, nor do we require specific personal identification such as your name or address. All response and demographic data gathered is owned by Great Place to Work® Institute, and is housed on secure servers at Great Place to Work® and/or its business partners. We do not sell or share individual response or demographic data with third parties. For operational purposes, we track usage of our survey website to monitor participation rates for individual surveys. We or our business partners may receive your individual email address from the Survey Administrator at your company in order to prepare an invitation and login for your participation in the survey, but this information is discarded by us once the online data collection period has been completed and the survey closed from further respondents. The information we receive from or about you is stored on systems designed to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of that information. Third Party Advertising and Cookies A "cookie" is set by the survey site to capture your login information for the duration of any session during which you access the survey. No response data is captured or stored by this cookie. The survey cannot function if cookies are disabled in your browser, but the cookie expires as soon as you close the browser window from which you accessed the survey. Again, only a reference to your login is captured by the set cookie, no response data is captured or stored. We do not accept advertisements of any kind from third-party advertising companies. Information Corrections or Changes We do not have the ability to allow an individual to change any of their responses once a survey has been submitted. If you have questions about this policy, you may contact us via e-mail at coordinator@greatplacetowork.in We use response data gathered from this website to prepare evaluation materials for individual companies using our workplace assessment consulting services; for individual research or publications prepared by Great Place to Work® Institute, and if your Organization is a candidate for Best Companies List the response data will be used to evaluate your Organization for inclusion in "Great Places to Work®" lists published by media partner(BusinessWorld, Economic Times,etc.) or other sponsors. Response data is compiled and grouped according to demographic categories, and presented in aggregate form only. To protect the confidentiality of individual respondents, demographic categories of 5 or fewer respondents are merged with other categories or suppressed altogether. Individual responses to open-ended comments questions may be shared in aggregate form, grouped by broad demographic categories, or excerpted individually in narrative form, but individual identifying information or demographics are not associated with responses to open-ended comments questions. Notwithstanding the foregoing, GREAT PLACE may disclose personal information in special cases: (1) when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) GREAT PLACE's rights or property; (2) when, after good faith research, we believe that the law requires it; (3) to GREAT PLACE's sales and marketing personnel and its suppliers, business partners, regional managers and/or sales representatives as necessary to provide service or information to you that you have requested; and (4) in situations involving threats to the physical safety of any person. Our Accountability to You By participating in a Great Place to Work® Institute, survey, you obtain the protections of this Privacy Policy, and consent to the data processing practices described herein. In addition to the privacy protections that we provide, our employees, agents and business partners are independently responsible for ensuring compliance with this Privacy Policy, as described below. Only those Great Place to Work® Institute employees that have a legitimate business purpose for accessing and handling individual data collected by this website are given authorization to do so. The unauthorized access or use of such information by a Great Place to Work® Institute employee is prohibited and constitutes grounds for disciplinary action. Additionally, our information management systems are configured in such a way as to block or inhibit employees from accessing information that they have no authority to access. We use trusted third-party companies for online data collection, data processing, translation and help-desk support services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. In addition, these companies have signed confidentiality agreements with us ensuring compliance with this policy.
